Induction Sytems 202

ive been toying with the option of a induction filter for abit now but what one to go for just a cone or a whole intake various options and sytems my main supplier of toyota performance bits just sell filtters on there own indicating that the intake is good enuf but as always i cant get hold of them ??

any one modded there intakes with pipes or just filters ???

drill holes in the bottom of the airbox and fit a trd or similar panel filter - you get a nice roar and better air intake. With an induction kit you get heat soak from the engine bay . even with a cold air feed.

i didnt really wana drill the box cheers for the info tho can say i have regreted getting this filter its a SUS blitz from fensport cost alot but it sounds the dogs well chuffed guna take the resonator boxes off tho i think cus dont really do much town driving

I'm going to try a replacement Panel filter in the next month on my GT - reading up a little on air flow before, found this on the Mitsubishi FTO and various filters and induction kits etc - not sure how "applicable" this would be re the Celica, or accurate the figures are, but worth a look.

i didnt get the filter for performance to be honest i just love the sound of induction roar there are many filters that give u power increase my last air filter i had fell apart and it was only a cheap one so i treated my self this time i have read loads of articles they always come out with odd readings i havent noticed any power difference only that it feels more responsive lower down the revs ill post a vid on youtube of it i have to say it puts a grin on my face now every thinks what the ***** is that coming
