3sgte (celica - Mr2)

Can anyone tell me if there is any difference between the Late edition MR2 Turbo 3sgte engine and the late model 3sgte Celica gt4 Motor??

I need to buy one for a conversion and just want to know what i am buying or which one is better/more reliable or if they are the same.

Both basically the same m8,,

apart from.........GT4 has top mounted charge cooler and alternator on the other side of the block, whereas MR2 has side mounted intercooler n suffers from heat soak due to that factor!!,,

think that's all but no doubt if i'm wrong someone will be along to correct me.

thanks for the reply. I thought it was only a few small changes..just to suit the rear mount of the MR2.
