Take a car such as a rear wheel drive Supra.

Now we all know how powerful that is but.......

What if the same car was front wheel drive........

Or 4 wheel drive..........

Pound for pound if a supra could be converted to any of these formats which would be the faster version?????

DISCUSS............

Okay,

1/4 mile... RWD would be faster

on a dry track .. RWD would be faster

on a wet track ... 4WD would be faster

Its just physics :hokus-pokus:

Your probally right mate but think it could be a close call on the 1/4 between 4WD and RWD but then depends what power figure we were talking.

not sure on the wxact fugures as it varys from car to car but a fwd car loses aprox 50- 60 hp betwwen fly wheel and hub a 4wd loses aprox 100 hp so although a 4wd car gets off the line better and has better traction 2 wd will always be quicker for a given output
