Well i own a 95 corolla sportif se and, as you can imagine, the stereo is rather dated, whilst im guessing a few screws here and some tugging there is whats needed im stumped as to what and where these steps should be taken and am rather paranoid about breaking something

anyways here is the culprit:

if anyone has some detailed processes/pics itd be much appreciated as, well, i hate that HU, also hate the Speakers, but that can wait

I know how to do it :P

1) At the bottom where the big square bit is, there are two screws, one either side of the hole, at an upwards angle. unscrew these and pull the heater sliders off

2) pull the whole thing a little then reach round and pull, gently, the clock, hazards, the rear screen heater's power clips, then pull the fascia off, you might need a bit of force to remove the different bits

3)unscrew the screws either side of the unit and gently pull then reach around the unit and un clip the main wire bunch and the Ariel.

for a new unit you might need an adapter for the Ariel (£4.99 from halfords) and maybe a cradle, they will be able to check this with regards the unit make etc.

to fit again just reverse the instructions. Hope that helps, if not then PM me and will get my car outside and go step by step for you mate let us know :yahoo:
