Hi

I just purchased my toyota vitz and it's all ok, and i simply love it. Yesterday i installed a new stereo with two 6x9's total power of 300w. When i went to work and got in my car after 7 hours, i pressed the clutch and turned the key and the engine didint start, i could just hear the weird noise of the starter.... Then i tried this several times. I had to call my friend and pushed my poor vitz down a hill and started it on gear... ... This problem occured today also, after my car rested a good night sleep in the garage...

Any help with this problem??

Maybe it's from the Battery?? :(

Have you wired your new stereo directly to the Battery or through an ignition controlled circuit?

sounds like when your cars off its still draining the Battery

best off sorting it now because evrytime you run your Battery flat it will damage the cells n will be no use after a few times

Did you drive the car for a good 20mins before putting it away for the night, the Battery will have needed to be recharged!

As you drained it all that day!

I filled the Battery with acid, cause it was very low on it, and it's all ok since now..

Now i've got another question... If i need to make a 1600w amp and 2 x 10" subs, a capacitor and lots of lights, do you think i will be needing a new Battery? Mine is only 35AH and i think there is space to place a 50AH Battery...

Thanks for helping dudes..
