1995 Rav 4 Wont Start

hi anyone out there had a problem when replacing a Battery on their rav 4

i replaced mine and now the !Removed! thing wont start

make sure all ancillaries are connected on the live side , my wifes rav has a few going to the live side. easy to miss 1 out.

Does it turn over?

If so does it have an immobiliser? I just wonder if it needs recoding before it will start.

no it does not turn over,it does have a immobiliser+alarm controled by a key on the main alarm box

and it will start with jump leads

If it starts with jump leads (AND the connection between the clamps and the Battery posts are good) then the Battery is cream crackered.

Don't think because it's new it is impossible as this is statistically one of the most likely times it will fail.

Take it back and ask them to drop test it (term used to describe a very high discharge test).
