Water Under Carpet

My avensis D4D 2004 got lot of water under carpet passenger side.I :!Removed!: could not trace it that where it is coming from.any one any idea or experience same problem then please help me to trace and fix this leakeg.your help is greatly appriciated.thanks

It might be the drain pipe from the A/C is blocked.

That was my first thought too.

The drain for the Aircon is usually routed down the passenger side. It can block under the car, come off it's pipe fitting - or if you have a Ford Scorpio, they forgot to fit it at the factory !

edit - dip your fingertip in and taste it. If it turns out to be coolant and not water then get it seen to ASAP. Any coolant leak can have terminal engine consequences !
