the celica i mentioned in my other post is a red 95 m reg import 2.0 gt automatic with fsh 95k miles new cambelt just fitted dont know if its an import or not my friend who is a machanic droped a deposit off and had a look and test drive said it drives like a dream and the body is spot on i only found it because m other car broke down and the rescue truck driver was selling it and he is a mechanic but i am new to celicas and you guys know better than me is 1400 quid a fair price

Seems like a fair price to both buyer and seller, auto are less desirable to some but if you like you like

Hi mate, yep £1400 seems average. It's more likely to be an import if the bodywork is immaculate and the engine bay is spotless. I paid £3500 for mine 2 years ago for an import, manual, no airbags, no sun roof either or skirts!

They are soooo reliable, and for the 2.0 GT (if it has a GT Badge, then its likely to be a UK model, the imports didn't have a Badge on the back as it was sold in Japan as an SS2)

If you can get a manual if you are a speed freak, otherwise auto is good for a daily driver in traffic jams although its a bit of a guzzler!

the car is deffo an import as i spoke to the owner today he told me he has had the car from 11k mls till now at 95k and has looked after it including a cam belt change that was`nt due for another 5k so iwill post some piccys when i recieve it
