Hi Guys

Well I have had the car for five days now and here is a list of mods I have made:

http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x62/allanon1158/Blue.jpg

I have added Philips Blue Vision bulbs in the headlights, side lights , tail / brake lights and the courtesy light. ( sales@powerbulbs.co.uk; ) - 1 hour

Next I wired in a passenger door switch and ran a second lead to the boot ready for my boot light. ( Mr T ) - 45 mins

I then added a delay on the courtesy fitting. ( Zeld Autos ) - 15 mins

I swapped the long aerial supplied for a black 160cm Bee Sting aerial. ( Motabitz ) - 7 mins

I put on a set of Aygo scuff plates ( Mr T ) - 20 mins (including degreasing the sills )

Then came the exhaust trim - square end in chrome. ( Motabitz ) - 20 mins

My last job for the week will be a white LED boot light as soon as it arrives, I will be using a micro switch on the base of the lock to operate the light. ( http://www.mobilecentre.co.uk/index.php?main_page=contact_us ) - 30 mins

I have more projects planned and I will post as they are done

Keep the faith

Sounds good to me. For the passenger light, did you just run it to the drivers door switch?

Yes it was real easy;

just pop the panels behind the door pillow, wire up the switch and screw in.

Run the lead behind the panel then lift the rear seat base hide the wiring under the carpet and thread it through the driving side panel to the original switch.

Connect the wire to the pink ??? wire and use the wiring loom cover to protect the new wire.

Easy :toast:

You can also run the wire from the second switch forward under the plastic sill,

then up behind the kick-panel and dash, through the A-pillar and over the headliner.

That's how I did mine. I also inserted a diode into the original wire,

so the lights-beep only responds to the driversside door, not the other one...

Thats what I would like to do to mine. As I have an alarm installed I have a passenger switch on the door already. Atm it doesn't control the light. If I put a diode on the cable that leads over to the drivers door switch then it shouldn't affect the alarm or beeping.

Are you considering changing the steelies to alloys? I quite fancy the ones from the Aygo Black myself but had to make do with the 5-spoke ones from the Style Pack!

Gorgeous car, although I am slightly biased! ;)
