I've only had the car one day!... Part of the fun of a new car is getting used to driving it. But how have you found the handling habits of the Aygo? If you push it does the steering remain neutral? Does it understeer? (I had one car which used to suddenly go from understeer to oversteer as you increased the speed round corners).

The reviews say the car rolls slightly...have you had this?

Yes, the Aygo understeers, and I would guess that due to the larger (so heavier) engine the diesel will understeer more than the petrol.

Most modern cars are engineered to understeer as it is safer and easier to control than oversteer for regular people who don't know what over/understeer is.

The Aygo does grip pretty well and if you lift mid corner the back does get a little light, but I've never had to apply opposite lock.

The diesel engine is about 30kg heavier that the petrol. I've had the pleasure to drive both petrol & diesel Aygo and the petrol can go about 5-10% faster when cornering very very hard before understeer is felt.

The main reason why it's so fun to drive is that it's light and can be chucked around corners easily, whith understeer not being an issue at all unless your trying to drive like Alonso
