lol ..... mate i get asked this a lot and the easiest way to explain it is visit www.monkeywrenchracing.com and u will find every part i've bought on their website ..... add that all up ..... add labour & tuning.

yea thats a top spec glad its running well! im jealous! i alaways fancied the idea of turbo bolt ons etc, but would be worried every morning turning the key incase it didnt start or something!

mate hitting lift on high boost (21-22psi) to date still scares the crap out of me ....... because of having that much boost i can get lift to come on as low as 4400 rpms ..... but as this didnt work so well wen on half throttle we ended up tweeking it with lift coming in strong @ 5000 rpms ...... the only description i have for it is it feels like 3 cam profiles .... 0-3K, 3K-5K & 5K-8.5K ...... and she just keeps on pulling ..... I also hardly use lift now because the car is soooooo much torquier under lift

thanks man ..... yes that can sometimes be challenging ...... but the LSD powering both wheels helps so wen it looses traction its atleast moving in the forward direction ...... also i tend not to be on the throttle all the time ...... gets a bit expensive on the fuel bill if i am ..... lol

LOL ..... that was actually a personal joke i had going with a friend ...... through the 4 yrs of me building this project he bought his WRX and absolutely didnt stop having a friendly dig that the WRX will always be quicker .... a stock wrx will beat a worked corolla etc etc etc this went on for like i said yrs ....... that video was just me getting my own back ;) ;) ;) ;) ...... there is no malice meant by it just two guys poking fun at each other ......

So got a little busy and finally got the wideband going and got rid of the little deka Battery from under the bonnet and replaced it with a larger odyssey in the boot.

Pictures with and without the carpet ...... i just need to get some covers for the terminals and work a way to protect it in the event i put something in the boot so that it doesnt get knocked around.

Dropped the 2nd o2 sensor in plus mounted the gauge in the dash cluster

there are only 2 Corolla with 2zzge i have seen street or internet have manage to tune the corolla tastefully, one is zoom and the other is the guy with the Corolla Fielder blitz sc,these two corolla are rank 1 and 2 in my book i havn't seen another corolla comes close to them .

people should take note early corolla's dashboard match aftermarket gauge's prefectly such as Defi i feel bad for people with the later corolla and them horrible white face :D .

nice old thread this lol just goes to show what the corolla is capable of, although he defo needs a tte bumper on it and have the back end same as compressors imo would make the car look a lot nicer and not bubble like :)

well guys i headed out to roll racing again for the Apr round which turned out to be the roll racing state of origin with NSW vs QLD going on. Just a grudge match here in australia between states.
