Speedo Conversion

Hello people,

Im importing a starlet gt turbo 1995 from japan and i was wondering where i can get a kmh to mph converter. And as far as im aware it will come with a speed restrictor too? Is there an item that converts and takes the limiter off or will i have to buy a kmh to mph converter and get a SLD??

Speedo converter - available from www.setrans.co.uk although not an MoT requirement to have km/h clocks.

you can also get a replacement dial.

Mechancial speedo converter also raises speed cut from 180kmh to 180mph.

If you don't convert speedo you can de-limit it, but whats the point - 180kmh is well into instant-ban and huge fine territory, so whats an extra 8 or so mph going to achieve?

180 kmh is about 113mph isnt it? well im wanting to do track days so i will want the limiter taking off so if i get one of the mechanical ones it will lift the limiter to 180mph?
