Fuel Filter Change

Anyone know when it needs to be changed?

Can't find anything about it in the service book!

Is this something that you can do yourself or do l have to loob my self up for Mr T ?

You never have to go to Mr T! :D

Usually fairly easy DIY:

jack Up Car

Locate filter

Clip the hoses going to/from it so you don't lose too much fuel

Change it over

Any garage should be able to do it in a few minutes really!

anyone knows where it is located? I can't find it anywhere... not even on the Toyota repair manual.

Have you got the pdf repair manual thing? I think it's either American or Australian....

If so it's mentioned in the "fuel pump2.pdf" file. But this is the pump filter. I'm not sure if there's another one!

Doesn't look all that easy to get to. Maybe it's not actually a generally serviced part? :o

I have the Spanish Toyota corolla repair manual, and in there the only car that have fuel filter is the diesel corolla. (1CD-FTV and 1ND-TV)

The petrol ones only refer to the fuel pump, which is under the back seats.
