Headlight Spring Clip

I've completed installing my HID Headlight Conversion kit and the results are amazing. This kit really lights up the road in the dark. Trouble is I've managed to lose one of the spring clips that hold the original headlight bulbs in place. Has anyone ever manage to get one from Toyota? Is there a part number for these clips and roughly how much do they cost? Thanks for any help!

Ed, i stupidly did the same....so i tried the local breaker without sucess. So i tried Toyota: -

Me "Hi i need a.......headlight clip"

MrT "....Hhmm, we don't have a part number for them"

Me " So....i'm going to have to buy a whole new headlight unit just to get a clip??"

MrT "Yes, that will be £90, do you want me to order it?"

Me "*laughs*.....No"

Ed - Remove the good one, get a medium size parerclip (same thickness steel) and pair of long nose pliers, and make a new one. I was suprised how easy and quick it was, you could not tell the difference between the two after 5mins fiddling. Installed just as easy and been perfect for 6months.

Saved £89.99  ....or i'll make u one for £45
