Having played with the Philips "which lamp type you need" tool on their website, I thought I'd ask here to try and get a definitive list of all bulbs required to replace everything on an Aygo.

I'd like to know which of the Philips bulbs to get (e.g. Blue Vision, Silver Vision), their Technical Number (e.g. H4, P21W etc.) and also how many would be needed for each location.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not 100% sure as I don't have my documentation

handy, but here's what I mostly know from memory:

  • Front Foglamps: H11, 55W/12V (2)
  • Front Indicators: 21W/12V with offset studs at 120º, these have to light amber,
but can be ay color when off (chromed looks WAY better) (2)
  • Side Indicators: these can't be swapped: when a light fails you have to replace the entire unit with a new one from Toyota.
Or you can get LED-indicators from eBay: look for Peugeot 107 side indicators (2)
  • Reversing Lamps: 21W/12V (1)
  • Tail/Stop Lamps: 5W/21W "duplo" 12V with stepped studs (2)
  • Tail Lamps: n/a; combined with stoplights
  • Rear Foglamps: 21w/12V (1)
  • Parking Lamps: 5W/12V with W5W Wedge fitting (2)
  • Low-Beam Lamps / High-Beam Lamps: combined into H4 55/60W 12V (2)
  • 3rd Stop Lamp: 5W/12V with W5W Wedge fitting (4)
  • Stop Lamps: n/a; combined with taillights
  • Rear Indicators: 12W/12V (2)
  • Number Plate Lamp: 5W/12V with W5W Wedge fitting (2)
  • Courtesy Lamp: 5W/12V with W5W Wedge fitting (1)

I've colorcoded lamps that are essentially the same and

also added the amount you need per function between (brackets)

If you want to swap all lights on your car, here's what you need:

  • 5W/12V with W5W Wedge fitting 9x
  • 12W/12V 4x
  • 21W/12V with offset studs at 120º 2x
  • 5W/21W "duplo" 12V with stepped studs 2x
  • H4 55/60W 12V 2x
  • H11, 55W/12V 2x

So that's 21 bulbs in the entire car.

[edit]I made a mistake in the fitting-designation; BA9s is a bajonet, it should be W5W[/edit]

[edit]Yet another mistake that came to my attention: foglights are supposedly H11 instead of H3[/edit]
