Screw Rattling Above Dash!

hi all

above the speedometer and dials there is a screw which i presume holds the facia around the speedo onto the dashboard itself. Trouble is, a few months ago my radio developed a fault which, whilst it was fixed by Toyota, then caused my dash to come back with a few small rattles, one as mentioned and another occasional on the radio itself.

I've seen elsewhere on this forum that rattles can be a problem on the Corolla if the dash is unscrewed. The screw itself seems to sit a bit loose in the hole, so is there anyway of ensuring that there is a snug fit? Can i plug the back of the dash with newspaper or something to stop the rattles? Its a bit too late now to send it back to Toyota to get them to fix the rattles, and it doesn't bother me enough to drive there!!
