Just wondering how many miles you guys are getting through before a new set of front tyres.

Think you should be able to get around 20k on the standard Bridgestone Turanza's. Depends on how much and how you drive.

Just went through a set of Toyo Proxes in 12000 miles...MAN!

Mine still has the original Bridgestones on and has done 41k

my oe tyres are michelins. were the pre facelift on bridgestones?

When I brought my T-Sport from a Lexus dealer a while back it did have Michelins on the front and Bridgestones on the rear. I think the pre-facelift ones were bridgestones originally.

What about the Continental Premium Contacts? They give good performance and have high mileage.

What about the Continental Premium Contacts? They give good performance and have high mileage.

They're only a bit more expensive than the Toyos too. Look like a good compromise.

Have a look at Vredestein Sportrac 3s aswell.

There are plenty of premium tyres in 195/55/16 V but the extra cost might not be worth it for the increased life.

Have a look at Vredestein Sportrac 3s aswell.

There are plenty of premium tyres in 195/55/16 V but the extra cost might not be worth it for the increased life.

I was quoted around £70 for the Conti's at my local garage. I paid this for a budget tyre Corsa from Toyota but I only got this in order to pass the MOT due on the same day :(

I got around 14k miles out of my front tyres ;)

They are Pirelli P-Zero Nero and are about £90 each so I used my spare and just bought one :P

Thats where i get my tyres from... on top of the £54 per tyre i pay around a tenner per yre for fitting...Thats still a BIG saving.

I might check fitting with a few independent garages near my home. A saving can be had here on a quality tyre!
