One thing I'd like to add to that link: you DO NOT have to take off the frosted front bit:

the bulb holders can be removed from the back of the panel: they are held in by a bajonet-fitting...

Also: the dash and radio are lit by LEDs, so you cannot swap these for another color without

voiding your warranty on those bits. because of that I went trouh the trouble of matching the

illumination of my homebrewed TID-project to the car instead of the other way around...
