hi all,

just wondering if i have the first signs of the dredded DMF failings. i have just noticed in the last week a vibration when accelerating.......just noticable in 4th, more noticable in 5th, also the missus said to me that i need to adjust the fanbelt as it squeals when i pull away from rest. i havent heard the noise myself but seen in other posts that a screech may be heard when there is a problem starting with the clutch/DMF. the car stills seems fine other wise. oh and its a 51 plate with 45k on it.

cheers all

The trouble with the diesel RAV4, it a case of when it will happen ,not if it will happen  , so fingers crossed its just the fanbelt, do a search on the site, there are sereral threads on flywheel problems.
