6 Speed?

I'm not sure if this has been asked/done before...

A few years back I had a corolla G6, which I loved, especially the 6 speed box. What's the chance of picking one up and it fitting the yaris t sport I have now? Which i reckon would really benefit from the 6th ratio, especially on the motorway.

Otherwise have many other toyotas come with a 6 speed box that will fit?

I'm sure earpl said ages ago he had a way to fit a celica gearbox onto a yaris. From a new shape gen 7 I think.

Other than that what about the TRD final gear ratio.

Chances of another gearbox fitting are pretty slim.

I have a 6 speed Bora TDi sport now and love it...

i`d like to know this too, i fine myself driving my girlfriends t-sport and when in 5th gear i am always clutching and reaching for a higher gear , don`t know why they didn`t put a 6 speed in them in the first place

i like the box as it is. if they did a 6speed it would shorten all the other gears and i dont think it`d like it any shorter
