Toyota Corolla X Reg, Ignition & Malfunction Warning Lamp

IGNITION PROBLEM / WARNING LAMP??

bought on 16.05.07, i thought toyotas are reliable!

Mines a X reg Toyota Corolla 1.4 VVti/

when i bought the car it was ok, a few days later it got had to start up. now it take about 5 mins before it start.

(normally starts if left in On position for few minutes.)

Now the malfunction warning lamp is on.

i misread it as the oil warning so i checked and filled up (it was 3/4 empty!)

Question is what do i do. Ive got a AA Dealer Guarantee, so it should be covered.(hopefully).

or go back to dealer (local, small) directly and ask him to fix it?

does anyone else have similar problems (apart from using too much oil! ive read about that!!)

Hence you have the warranty - you shouldn't touch anything yourself, or I guess you may loose the warranty!

Go to dealer as you've got the warranty, for me, when I bought from small dealers they didn't gave me warranty at all, but they have changed the front tyres and replace the faulty Battery before I collected my car. However it was completely alright so no big issues at all.
