went to see a mate today to look at a headunit

ended up walkin away with a

12" inch inphase sub

500watt 2 channel inphase amp

vibe QB69 600watt max each

so came home ripped the old sound sytem out n started to put it back together

so now there is

2 * 12" inphase subs and boxes 1400watt

inphase pa600 - 900watt 2 channel amp runnning in parallel so each sub gets 900watts

inphase pa500- 500watt 2 channel amp running the vibe qb69

sony gt300 headunit powering fli 6.5 door Speakers and inphase 4 inch dash Speakers

:| fairly loud like

dont no whether to put my fli 800 4 channel and fli 6 b9's bak in cause its loud nuff as it is.

anyone no how i cant get the sound level measured?

I feel sorry for your parcel shelf mate! Mine rattled enough with normal bog standard 6x9's in! You thought about making a stronger shelf at all???

haha i ave 3 jobs :P

plus im a tight git so i neva pay full wack

if ya shop around its suprising wat ya can save for instance

sony gt300 headunit

Halfords £150

eBay £87 posted

inphase sub

shop £150

1st one on offer for £100

2nd from mate for £50

inphase amp 900watt

shop- £100

eBay - £60

i worked out overall the lot of it shuda cost me jst over a grand and id say ive paid about £450 so far so shows how much u can save really

its gettin a proper one made up out of mdf bout 12/15 mm and stealth cause them Speakers r worth £100 :| plus they dnt fit on the standard one

thinkin im guna ave to seriously sound proof cause theres some insane boot rattle haha

also taking the thin plastic out thats between the boot n the spare wheel n thats guna be mdf with a rubber sil to stop it rattling aswell

lights were on n off like a disco on the way home tonite lol maybe a power cap to :| lol haha

Yeah mine dip at high volume so yours definally would!

MDF shelf is a must and sound proof that boot!

I used roof flashing, does the job just as well and half the price!

the shelf is like proper saggin with the weight of the Speakers n the fact theres big chunks of em missin

how much can u get new parcel shelfs for? for wen i sell

sounds good, i had two 12" inphase xt subs in my old mazda. they were in the double custom box. DAMN they were loud!

Picked up mine off eBay for £18.50 (p&p enclusive!), not bad I thought!!
