How Many Of The 250 Are Left?

I found Jack's TTE Compressor by doing a search on Google. Only one turned up for sale in Bournemouth at Westover Toyota. It was their demonstrator. Interestingly it didn't show up on Toyota's own website but then I've never got that site to do what's expected of it.

The car is very clean and pulls well. It should with slightly less than 10,000 miles on it. The brake discs have wear with lips like I have on my Avensis 2.0 T Spirit after 30,000 miles and I am guessing this is down to enthusiastic use by someone at the dealership (possibly after hours).

We wondered... of the original 250 that were modded, how many are still on the road. Someone at Inchcape said that two were written off at the Derby dealership! I don't know if that was a tall tale or not but it would be interesting to get an idea of how many of these little beauties are out there, shiny side up, so to speak. Could there be less than 200 at this point?

Will post photos and stuff in due course.

John

Two were written off early on, but as far as I know most still exist.

If you are wondering how I can know that, think about where they might be...

Bit out of the way to travel for an IS200. Is it the SE one they have I think at the Gateshead site with the black wheels?

I'll not bother looking at your Compressor seeing all the problems you have.
