Hi guys...

I am a toyota oldschool fool and are looking forward to share my knowledge,experience and ideas about old toyota's.

I have a 82 Corolla turboconverted TE71 Levin GT Coupe that has costed me too much money.

I have a 82 Carina TA60 liftaback, daily driving car.

And i have a 75 turboconverted Corolla KE20 (Pnut) that is just for fun.

Here is some info.

This is my TE71 Levin GT Coupe.

The body is reconditioned,removed rust,new doors,fenders,new paint +++

It has also 4 Yello adjustable Koni shocks, Saab springs.

It has recaro interiour +++.

I have transplanted a 3T-GTEU engine into it.

A 1800ccm, Efi,8V,Yamaha twincam,twinspark turbo...I have reconditioned it, and tuned it up a bit with Ross forged pistons,

frontmonted intercooler, Garrett T3 AR48 exhaust, 2,5" exhaust,open airfilter +++. Running 1 Bar turbopressure.

AEM aftermarket programmable Ecu soon to come.

I hooked it up to a W58 supra 5 speed tranny using 225mm Centerforce dual friction clutch kit, and T-293 LSD rear end.

Here we have my KE20 Pnut.

Pretty much stock body.Removed rust,welded..Sprayed Jungle green with flake.

It will soon have upgraded brakes and shocks/springs.

I have taken the 2T-G engine (the stock engine from my TE71) and turboconverted it.

This is a 1600ccm, Yamaha doch top, 8V, with two doubble Solex mikuni 40mm sidedraughts.

All reconditioned

Lowered pistons Ball shaped. (ca 7,3:1 comp)

Portet top and intake

Custom made intake plenum

EFI fuel pump with Malpassi fuelpressureregulator.

The 40mm Solex Mekuni carbs has got 170ccm jets.

Custom made eksosmanifold with ekstern 43mm wategate.

Custom made adapter between turbo and manifold.

New and upgraded Garrett T-35 with A/R-48 eksos.

2" exhaust.

MSD 6AL with rpm limiter

MSD Blaster 2 coil.

KN open airfilter

Alu intercooler.

2,5" piping between turbo-intercooler, intercooler-plenum.

Using the T-50, 5 speed tranny with Centerforce Dual friction 200mm clutch set.

Running 1,2 bar turbopressure

My Carina TA60 liftback.

Has only done 60' KM!.

I have reconditioned the body,removed rust,welded,painted it red and fitted som wheels on it.

Stock car for daily driving.

Great TE71 there! I've still yet to see one over here in the UK. Are there many in Norway?

The TE71 is very rare here in Norway.Spesially the GT version...I live in Bergen,and it is only two TE71 GT's and one SR here..

Yes...There is a few KE70's left here in Norway,but not many...

Because of the climate we have,and all the salt they use on the roads in the winter makes old cars rust away...

lovely, lovely cars sir- i like all three, but a KE20 with a 2T-G sounds like great fun to me also love the carina- quite a rare car over here, don't recall ever seeing a 2 door one.
