I grew up with 80's music.. such as U2 when they weren't just good, they were MEGA good, but for me you can't beat the 70's.. Pink Floyd, T-Rex and even Abba ( yes I know.. but everyone like Abba... right?:lol:)

Yes, Joshua Tree is my fav U2 album.

music today.... how many artists make original songs?.. very few. OK.. every decade has had cover versions, but it seems these days that it is fair game to do a cover version of a song that was released 4 months ago.. what is that all about???.. a quick buck by some rapper who can't sing, can't play and can't write his/her own material.

Everyone likes the Beach Boys too, but the 60's just aren't that popular according to the poll.

the 80s brought us an awesome Indie scene ( and Bananarama ! )

I love U2 in the 80's, joshua tree is like the best album ever!

and i called JAE FM JFK FM at one point, about 4am it seemed to be on a 4 track loop though

I liked FB3.. good band. They Specials weren't too bad either.

There were a lot of Good, original bands born in the 80's.

Rich.. stop taking whatever it is your taking and get some 70's goods inside you.. bring back Mark Bolan (genius)... PLEASE!

Remember it well, Slade, Sweet, Alice Cooper, David Bowie.

brings back memories when i listen to that music, I remember my first real kiss with a girl who is now my mates mother :rolleyes:
