Best Decade For Music?

I grew up with 80's music.. such as U2 when they weren't just good, they were MEGA good, but for me you can't beat the 70's.. Pink Floyd, T-Rex and even Abba ( yes I know.. but everyone like Abba... right?)

music today.... how many artists make original songs?.. very few. OK.. every decade has had cover versions, but it seems these days that it is fair game to do a cover version of a song that was released 4 months ago.. what is that all about???.. a quick buck by some rapper who can't sing, can't play and can't write his/her own material.

Everyone likes the Beach Boys too, but the 60's just aren't that popular according to the poll.

the 80s brought us an awesome Indie scene ( and Bananarama ! )
