Rav4 V Astra Vxr

just been to see about getting a new rav4.

at the moment i got a vxr but we got a baby on its way and think its a bit to small now.

anyway just want to know what you lot think about the new ravs.

i used to have a 05 rav4 and wish i never got shot of it.

my astra has been upgraded to 300 bhp so it will be mist.

getting a 24 hour testdrive tomorrow

Hi Tom,

Yes this forum is a bit slow at times, but be patient and someone will talk to you eventually.

I swapped from a Mazda RX8 to a T180. Obviously the T180 is not as fast or handles as well as the RX8, but it does have neough power to have fun, and the handling is not too shabby for a 4x4. There's is loads more room, but must admit that there is not as much as I thought it would have. My wife's VW Touran seems to have loads more room, despite being about the same size. I think it's because her bonnet is about half the length of the RAV's. The other thing I was diappointed with was the rear seatbelts. There are 3 of them, but i find that the middle one is practically unusable, esp with a baby seat on one side and a booster seat the other. Overall, i like the RAV and enjoy driving it. What are you thinking of getting?

Hi Tom,

We have a 2001 NRG at the moment and are awaiting the delivery of our 2006 T180. My missus is over the moon with the NRG and is greatly anticipating the arrival of the new one. I havent had a VXR, but I would say that you wouldnt be disappointed with the Rav4. With the car also goes the excellent service that you receive from the Toyota dealerships. Ask most people on here and they will say that they are really happy with the service they get. I'm not sure what the Vauxhall dealership service is like, but I bet Toyota would give them a run for their money!!

thanks for the replys. after testdriving it today for 24 hours we gonna order one

with the baby on its way it will be much better.

i really wish i never sold my old rav4 cos i moded it loads.

yeah she got a nice pair.

just an update im still haggleing with toyota,all i want now i the bluetooth in with the deal, they are saying the cant but im letting them stu till monday.

anyway im getting the xtr with style pack on silver and will be getting it on the 57plate.cant wait to own one again
