Celica Alarm System

I recently bought a cover to put over my Celica, but everytime I try and fit it, the alarm trips! Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so, what is the fix?

press the lock button twice to disarm the alarm sensors is the usual trick, but it depends on the alarm.

What celica have you got, (what age, model etc) is it an import? Is the alarm an original alarm or is it an aftermarket one? What does the keyfob look like how many buttons has it got??

Also you'd be better posting it in the Celica Section rather than general.
