Just bought myself an AYGO + in the ice blue metallic.

Got a really good deal on a Jun 07 pre reg at £1200 less than list price with only delivery mileage.

can't wait til I pick it up now.

Will be a bit of a culture shock from my MX5 which I am giving up.

Well.... I'll say hello

My daughter has a new Aygo Black and I think it is a great little car.

I hope you enjoy it when it arrives :yahoo:

Hello, and welcome to Aygo ownership. You must have crept in whilst I was not looking ;)

Maybe you could post some photos of your car when you pick it up

I suppose by now you have got it?

3 or 5 door?

Auto, Manual, MMT?

Petrol or Tractor?

Did the dealer chuck any extras in?

Any plans for mods or additions like the glove box lid or rev counter?

Most of all, enjoy!

While the Aygo's nowhere near the same league as an MX-5 it's still a corking little drive :toast:

NO extras due to the deal. Both of those mods... :-)

Yeah it is the ideal car for my drive to work.

I too part exchanged my MX5 for my Aygo and apart from the very obvious savings have found it a much more all round satisfying driving experience.

The Aygo is nippier, roomier, much more practical and not being constantly tailgated by Vauxhall (usually) drivers wanting a race.

Also my MX5 had a spot of rust on the boot lid which after 3 years was not a good sign.

The real clincher was the difference in road tax, for me, being retired ,it is important.

Enjoy your Aygo!

Well picked it up at 10.30 today. What can I say other than mmmmmmmmm. It smells nice and new - only 7 miles on the clock (although that's 27 miles now). Decided I don't need a rev counter but will get glove box lid.

Nippy doesn't describe it - it was more than great for the journey home. I think this will be a beautiful relationship.

Will post some pics up soon.

Rust after 3 years? That's shocking!

Enjoy the new car smell Ben, it doesn't last for long though does it :(
