Bad Ignition Coil?

Hi Guys,

Trying to track down a slight miss on idle on my car. I'm slowly working my way through the obvious, and today I checked the ignition coil.

According to Haynes, the primary resistance should be 1.11 to 1.75 ohms when cold. This is for distributors with internal igniters which I am certain mine is.

The reading I got was actually 2.4 Ohms.

It's not a lot out, but would this difference cause any problems?

Oh, and the secondary resistance is within spec.
