has anyone wired the folding mirrors into the key so when you lock the door the mirrors fold away?

that is the 1st thing i will try and do when i get mine.seems silly having to fold them before you get out.

i know my old rav you could wire loads into the alarm panel,so loping the alarm is a good one

I'll be interested to see how you get on. I guess you can do it by using a switching relay but be very careful when you pick up the feed for it because most things are controlled by an ECU and if you spike something that is powered down you may cause some problems. The car has wide use of CAN circuits and duplex wiring and you don't want to invalidate your warranty as soon as you get it.

Good luck.

That seems like a great idea why have the manufacturers not thought of that?

When I get my XTR I would be interested to do the mod
