A Little Rant

Why is it so difficult to find parts for the T sport, the car is just as good s the EP3 civic type R, yet there are hundreds of tuning goodies out there for that car?

:ffs:

I think its because the Civic is seen as a bit of a boy-racery car maybe. Where as the CTS is the hidden gem of the hot hatch world.

Totally agree with you! That said my CTS is completly standard, i do like the look on a ricer's face when he/she looks you up and down at the lights revving thier engine, and before he reaches 30 you've just launched past 50-60mph lol!!

Driving test...£45

CTS.....£10000

Look on thier face.....Priceless

TIP FOR THE RICERS!!-------> They put the TS badges on there for a reason!!

Cheers

Mark

I totally agree, the civic is looked on as a boy wasters car.

The T sport on the other hand is somewhat of an unknown, in terms of what it can do.

Most of these tuning companies will only make aftermarket parts for the masses, so to look on it another way at least we are original.

Aftermarket parts are to improve a production model.

What's to improve on a T-Sport.....

Had to say it before someone else did :toast:

the type r has more aftermarket parts because it is initially more of a race car than the cts

just compare comfort levels between the two. because of this people who buy the ctr want a more racer feel than the cts delivers. eventualy they will get used to the ctr and want to increase its power and performance.

this is not to say cts owners wont wish the same but it would be more likely with the ctr.

secondly their is a history of people (particulary young males) wishing to moddify their civic.

this range from wreckless idiots to geuine, knowledgeable car enthusiasts. tuining companies know

that this market exists for hondas and so are often amongst he first car to have aftermarket parts made available to them.

lastly the corolla does not have a racer image. Nor does it seem this is the image toyota want to give out. Per head i would imagine more ctr's will be moddified in their lifetime than cts's.

there are many companies that produce parts for the cts

trd, tte, trc tuining corp, c-one, booster, k&n, tein etc etc etc

and this lot too. click the link here (@ Admin- this list needs updating, some are dead links)

Oh and can you get a supercharged ctr from the factory, i dont think so....
