Sort Of Hello And Goodbye

Funny first post for me to this forum, as my Aygo is going. Not because of any problem with it, but because of problems with arthritis I need a car without a clutch and I don't need to change gear. So I've ordered a Yaris which should arrive in September, picked the Yaris for a little bit more room inside :) .

However I have give my little red Aygo a fair workout in it's 14 months with me so far, in February with the snow I ended up driving it for nearly 11 hours because of the conditions, no complaints about the seats even after that length of time. Then a month ago on the M5 some kind person dropped their silencer (rusted and rotten) into my path in the centre lane of the motorway, it appeared from under the car in front rolling from the centre of the lane across into my left wheel track, cars in all three lanes, all I could do was sit there and hit it as there was nowhere else to go, my little Aygo coped incredibly well and even though the silencer broke up under the impact my car carried on going, off the motorway I discovered a fair bit of damage (all underneath) that cost my insurance nearly £500, but I can't see many cars coping any better with an accident like this, certainly means I'll be sticking with Toyota

Anyway I'm certain I'll be about on these forums for a long while

Thanks all for the replies, yes I will post some pictures of the new Yaris, although I'm still awaiting for a definate date of delivery for it, at the moment all the Dealer can say is that it's due in September :)
