New Case Is In....

Following on from my heating problems i decided to treat myself to a new case as i felt taht the current one wouldn't help matters.

so i picked up an Antec 900 gaming case

1 top 200mm TriCool fan with 3-speed switch control

1 rear 120mm TriCool fan with 3-speed switch control

2 front 120mm special black TriCool blue LED fans with 3-speed switch control to cool HDDs

1 side (optional) 120mm fan to cool graphic cards

1 middle (optional) 120mm fan to cool CPU or graphic cards.

coupled with a Front thermal controll unit i picked up at the weekend - should keep it cool

Will post pics of the case & installed kit later.

Good choice.. I have an Antec something or other and it is a good piece of kit with loads of spare bits and pieces!

Cant post pics due to crappybucket being down...

but everythings installed & the fan's are set to low,

pervious temps

Case - 36 Degrees C

CPU 42 Degrees C

Current

Case - 26 Degrees C

CPU - 34 Degrees C

tested in the same conditions using Motherboard Monitor & already there is a masive 10 degree drop in case temp.

thats why i can also run this case as water cooled :P
