I've had my Tspirit for a year and a half now and I've only just noticed that occasionally, in route guidance, when you get the split screen, the right half of the screen is not in reverse colours. Usually this half shows the upcoming lane changes etc with a black background and a blue line for the route but occasionally, I've see this change to a green background with a heavy drop shadow for the frame!

I'm trying to work out when this happens but I have a feeling that it only happens when I'm an a national park area. Yesterday we went to Ross on Wye, through Brecon and it was happening constantly there. As soon as I got neared home (South Wales), it went back to the 'normal' display! I think that previously it happened in the New Forest area, last year.

Can anyone shed any light on this - as usual it doesn't seem to be mentioned in the manual!

Right hand split screen when NOT in navigation mode (no destination set) does as the left side except you can have it set to different zoom. when you are navigating somewhere the right hand side is used to display info on the coming direction changes. if you are in a park the background colour is green for greenery whereas built up area are orange an blanks are white similarly lakes and water are blue. it sort of makes sense.
