Malfunction Indicator Lamp

Hello guys,

I did notice today morning that malfunction indicator lamp is on. I ‘m a little worry what it is. Is there any chance to check myself what is the fault code?. Where is the connector to do this? My car is 2.0 litre automatic VVti Avensis 2003,T4,.Car has got 97000miles and driving very well. I did check oil and brake fluid and also coolant, filled up water in washing(wipers) tank yesterday. But I have not found transmission fluid, where is it ,.

Any advice will be helpful,
