Noise From Wheels

Has anyone encountered this before?

When driving at a slow speed i.e. below 30mph there's a screeching noise coming from wheels. Its not the brakes as my car doesn't suffer from screechy brakes but the noise is apparent when slowing down and pulling away.

Any suggestions as to what it is and how to rectify?

Wheels can't make noises, lol, most likely you have a stone in the backplate/caliper, or the pads are low and the anti squeel warning shim is just touching the disc, as you go faster, the normal road/car noise makes you think it's gone away but it will still be there, get the wheels off and give the pads/calipers a good inspection and cleaning.
