WARNING! OLD DUFFER COMING THROUGH...

I remember back when men were real men and cars were real cars... bleh!!! enough of that.

Wolfrace wheels are usually cool. We used to run them on a G reg Corolla Exectutive with 215mm treads - the original alloys would corrode badly on used examples. I forget what the aspect ratio was for the profile but they had the look of today's 17 inch wheels so it must have been similar.

The Wolfies were manufactured well and never gave us any problems even though we ruined a few low profiles tyres by running hard over surface irregularities like potholes when scratching 'round country roads. I would expect that they are still manufactured to that standard, if not better these days.

I think you will be pleased if you get them but it is a lot of money that you might want to spend on quality rubber and brakes instead. The original wheels aren't at all bad IMHO unless they're looking tatty. If you like the look of the current trend for black alloy and polished beading, an expert polish, powder coating job and rebalance just for the wheels might be the way to go.

Just an idea...

Go to wolrace.net, there you can choose the model of your car, and apply any Wolfrace wheel to your model of car, so you can see what it looks like, a bit cheesy but quite good. Kingo
