Boost?!

Hi ya now i have fittted my front mount intercooler and removed me charge cooler but dont seem to be getting the same boost any more! Is this normall and just need to turn my boost up a bit more of is there a problem? I have checked for leaks and cant seem to find any? any help would be grate

no point in having a fmic if ur not running over 300/330 brake.

to be fair id check for air leaks as that is most likely also be aware that youll have more lag than normal with it

All sorted now just needed turning up a little now its all good again and yes a little more lag but hopeing to get a new turbo at some stage and been finding out about a AEM ecu or does any one recomened something different?

depends on your budget but the hydra nemisis from tractive solutions is highly reccomended, eaqual or better than MoTec. fitted and mapped for about £1800. or if you can get one an apexi PFC

Was told it was gunna cost me about 2000 to have the A E M fitted and mapped, thats with a 3.5 bar map sensor and a wide bannd lambda and and gauge

go for the hydra then, self learn, wideband lambda control, knock control, launch control, antilag (useless any way unless you like replacing turbos often), better map resolution than the M4 MoTec and much more.clicky here for more
