Well after being a member here for a long time initially as an MR2 owner, you may remember her:

And then moving on to my Gen 7 Celica:

The time has come for change, and she is up for sale as I have bought:

Ive been a massive fan of Toyota cars and Ive has some expert advice from many of you over the years, so thank you

LOL yeah I know what you mean, Ive already had plenty of hairdresser comments but heck I had them with the MR2 as well :)

It drives nice, always wanted a soft top (although Im looking for a second hand hard top for it as well), however it does like the petrol very much compared to what Im used to but saying that its double the bhp of the Celica.

Its my first german car so Im hoping the experience will be good. I may never have left Toyota but when they decided to stop making Celica's and MR2's I didnt feel that they would have anything in the future for my tastes. Now were they to decide to make a new MR2 and base it on the Gen2 style, that would be a different matter!

Double the bhp of the Celica ???? So it's minimum 280bhp or 380bhp if your Celica was the 190bhp version ???? Some 1.8T that.

okay not quite double actually, but the Celica was 130 and this is 225.

Yeah Im not quite sure how that added up to double either but there is a fair difference

Buy it off me then ;)

In fairness the Celica is lovely, as was the MR2 before it, the TT is a lot nicer in my opinion being in a position to compare the two. Power wise particularly, but also in build quality (not that Toyota isnt excellent in this area too).
