Daytime Running Lights

Just took delivery of my 2007 Corolla here in Colombia. The models sold in Colombia DO NOT come with specified daytime running hights HOWEVER in the headlight assembly, there is the standard low beam and high beam lens and light asssemble. In the low beam portion, there is a small bulb next to and slightly behind the larger bulb. This light comes on when I am using the PARKING lights and during normal night time driving.

My quesiton for those who have the automatic daytime running light feature, is this small bulb I am talking about the bulb that lights up for your daytime running lights or are your daytime running lights different and have a different bulb. I spoke to the dealer here and they are CLUELESS as to what a daytime running light is, they have never heard of them here. I KNOW, its third world south america. If the small bulb IS the daytime light, then I can maybe order a wiring kit to convert it
