:wacko: Can anyone shed any light on the topic of Power Steering Fluid? I have a year 2000 Avensis 1.8. The manual says to use an Automatic Transmission Fluid Dexron II or III. I found a generic PSF made by Comma in my local garage. Can I use this or will it result in doom? Many thanks.

They are mixable, get as much of the old sludge out as possible, then refill with Dextron III

Dextron III is nothing more then a superceeded specification of D II.

Its what Toyota use!
