I Love My Rav Because.......

I was taking my 3 year old daughter to nursery this morning in the T180 and she said, "Daddy, I love your car!".

When I asked her why she said, "Because the telly in the front always knows where we are and takes us to nursery!".

I thought that was quite sweet and got me wondering what other people love about their RAV?

Because the alarm went off at 3am last night and woke up the whole neighbourhood  .

Man that was noisey. Horns, siren, indicators, interior lights were all part of the display my Toyota chose to provide.

Oh yes I was really in love with it last night. This morning I spent an hour looking for a spider that may have triggered the movement sensor. No spider, or if there was it was equally traumatised and crept under the dash (it better stay there tonight). Then I did a forensic check on the drive to see if one of next doors overhanging plums had prematurely dropped on the roof  . No plums. Then I read the manual to see if there might be a further explanation :g: . No further explanation. Then I experimented to see if there was a way of disarming the alarm. Don't think the insurance would like it. Then I went to the neighbours and apologised for the din created on the first night of weekend.

I like my RAV but I don't want many more of those tantrums before I get to dislike it :mad2:

Hi Anchorman,

No possibility of passing revellers giving the wheels a kick to set off alarm ?

Paul, every time I see one it makes me laugh, just wonder if it was designed by same people

who designed that horrible Subaru you were all talking about recently ? Speaking of which,

I may have to resurrect the thread in question. BMW are bringing out an X6, apparently to

appeal to people who go for the likes of the Porsche Cayenne and Range Rover Sport. Seems

to be like an X5 coupe, maybe you should have held off on the TT.

Cheers,

Dave.

It was on the drive but there is every possibility that it was a prank as there was allegedly a gang of prowling youths out all night last night.

I have put it in the garage for tonight just in case somebody thinks it's good sport to torment poor anchorman in the middle of the night.

They obviously don't know how jolly unpleasant I can be at that time.

Cheers

Paul, I was looking at Rav 4 World this morning, I see the Rav has beaten the CRV in the american JD Power survey.

Rav was 1st, CRV 2nd, Honda Element 3rd, now here is a Honda to laugh at. We dont get it here in UK, but wifes

brother who lives in US has one for his "winter car". Looks like it was designed by a 5 year old japanese kid who

loves plastic and cartoons

Dave.

Dave,

On the BMW X6 issue......................... would any self resecting hairdresser be seen in one of them!!!??

Is that Honda Element the thing that looks like a box on wheels with suicide doors??!!

Honda really are dropping their cars from the top of the ugly tree at the moment. Only one I can think of that's good looking at the moment is the S2000 (another hairdressers car if I'm not mistaken!!) :yahoo:

Cheers.

Paul.
