Watch Out For The Fox!

got some horrible distressing news guys

was driving home the other night and a fox ran out infront of me and there was car lights on the other side of the road

i swerved straight into the path of a perfectly placed lamp post completly totaling the n/s of the car and ripping the n/s/r wheel staight off :ffs:

upon further inspection found the rear axle had been ripped off aswell and n/s/f arm bent a twisted

lets just say the gloves are off towards all foxs in future!!!!!

looks to me like the compressors a rite off absolutly gutted :(

Very sorry to hear that driving with consideration for wildlife has possibly cost you your car. What happens now? Do you expect to replace it with similar on the insurance or what?

If it's not too cheeky to ask... I might be interested in buying at least one unmarked 20 spoke wheel from you if you are in a position to sell.

Really though, that's rough. Glad to hear no reports of injury at least.

Not being morbid or anything but did you take any photo's of the damaged compressor?

I lost the front bumper on my Glanza to a fox once... and was glad he was in pieces on the road!!! :censor: It gave me the opportunity to do some work to my car at the time which was good! Sorry to hear you won't be able to do much with yours, but as the lads said you should have ploughed through the fox!!!

sorry to hear about that mate. You should have ploughed straight into. Unless it's a human or something as large as a cow my steering wheel is turning. I did knock over a human one though, was almost kissing the windscreen. Stupid drunk kid thought he was superman.

I know! He was 20 (the same age as me) but his Dad thought my insurance should pay for the damage lol.

It's easy to say run the fox over but your natural instinct is to avoid them, sadly.

It sounds like your car is dead in my opinion.

cheers lads i thought about that fox dodging incident afterwards and couldnt understand why i didnt just kill the m***** F*****

as to your question trucker jack i took the spare out before she got taken away but i am still waiting to here from my insurance so al let you no what i am doing with it altho i do want another compressor there is a few down south maybe talk my bosses into putting 1 on a transporter for me

There's one at Hodgsons Toyota in Newcastle for sale! Around £14k I think.

i went onto auto trader website and found 2 private sales i think and about 4 or 5 others which were at toyota centers so there is hope maybe also been looking at a toyota chaser 2.5 twin turbo looks like a good laff

got a brand new spare wheel and tyre never been run if one of the compressor faithful is wanting it make an offer
