Never heard this as a problem on a newer corolla. You must be unlucky!

Get your glovecompartmentbox out look at the pollenfilter behind it els go lay down up side down with a flashlight and let somebody with a hose spray the car from the roof down and you look inside where its coming from .

Thit you put some extra cables in to the car from the Battery , or pulled to hard on some wiringcables ??
