Bike Rack Question ?

Hey Guys and Gals!

Just a quick question, I have a bike rack but its a low loader one which sits on the rear bumber and rest on the window! 6 straps support it from the bottom (2 straps), sides (2 straps) and the top (2 straps)! Problem is the spoiler is in the way so the straps are hanging over the top of it, which will either break it or rub the paint off!

So... Has anybody got a rack which sits higher and would you recommed it?

I cycle and do not have a bike rack for the very same reason,I take the wheels of my bike ,as they are quick release,and put her in the hatch no problem with the shelf out.If you want a couple of bikes in there put the seat forward on drivers side you can put a couple of adulT racing or mountain bikes in no problem with front wheels of only,I have an old sleeping bag in the hatch to lay the bikes on and you still have 3 seats for passengers.

Tried a Bike rack this weekend! Its the Halfords High mount rack! Works ok, and the straps do not put any pressure on the spoiler as the mounting point is higher! It seems to work ok but tyres on bike will have to come off and another bad point (possibly due to my bike frame) its a bugger to fit it on the rack! Once its on it isn't coming off tho, which is good lol! Its on deal at moment if you interested think its 55 squid!
