Just Bought A Yaris T-sport

Hi All

Just bought a Yaris 1,5 T-sport from 2005

I have just ordred lowering springs from H&R

And am thinking of buying som Schmidt Space 6.5" X 16" ET30 http://www.felge.de/produkte/database/?wid...eelpieces=1-tlg

But am worried that ET30 will give me problems with rubbing when it is lowered..

Does anybody have any experience with this??

you want at least an offset of 38 or 42 with 16's especially on a lowered car.

I tried using http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

The difference between 6.5 X 16 ET30 and 7 X 16 ET38 is only

Innerclearance: 14mm Less

Outerclearance: retract by 2mm

Anybody else??

I had offset 35 on my 15" wheels before I bought my 16's, and they were close to sticking out of the arches. If you go for 30 they may more than likely stick out as the proper offsets for a yaris are 35-45.

I don't know what it's like in Denmark with car laws, but here you will fail your MOT if the wheels stick out past the arches.

Which I think will brilliant on it . Will post pictures when it is lowered and with new wheels on it :-)
