hi there. i own a 1.3 yaris and wondered if it was worth buying an SR or t sport exhaust. i have a few questions for you guys first though.

1) do they sound any different i.e. do they growl any more than a normal one?

2) is there a difference between an SR or tsport exhaust.

3)will either fit a 2001 1.3 cdx?

4) is it worth it?

please let me know.

I don't think they will sound any different as they are standard exhausts so not noisy to start off with.

There have been some fitment issues between cars, I'm sure the fujitsubo exhaust from the t-sport doesn't fit the 1.3 sr, so I don't know if it will fit the cdx.

Not worth it.

see if you can get a cheap tte exhaust from eBay, will be better

the Tsport one is standard and won't fit. The Earlier SR's came with the TTE exhaust made by Remus, which produces a nice rumble over standard and looks a lot better. However the later SR's came with the same exhaust as your CDX. The TTE should fit your car as they are basically the same 1.3 2NZ-FE car but with different optional extras. And finally, It would only be worth getting the TTE second hand as there are already several other after market exhausts that would cost the same new and give you better results.

SR TTE exhaust is worth the buy for the extra rumble and looks alot better, dont expect massive noise but if thats not what you want then its perfect, dont pay over the odds though as some go for £20 and some for over £100!

Best of luck!

Mine was £60 plus P&P off a scrapped SR...

(Hint: The exhaust from the early SR (ie Japanese-built, P1, 1.3) will fit French-built D-4Ds ;) )
