Disgusting Px Price!

Hi, i recently sold my house and have been able to pay all debts and car off and a little left over so was thinking of getting a lotus elise or europa. Sent a garage an email about the Europa and details of my car! He said there was no interest in my car from toyota dealers and could offer me £9000 for a black 5000 miles 56 plate Compressor :censor: . I sent him an email back telling him to politely "do one". I then went on a site called "webuyanycar.com" and got an instant offer to buy the car for cash for £10,600 a bit better at least. I used to sell for Toyota last year and the guy at Lotus is taking the P*ss! Well i think he is anyway!!! Think I will renevate another house and then sell if this is the best they can do lol

Gosh that is a bit low and the cheek of it from Lotus! I would do a private sale and try and get over £11k for it. I think most dealers are selling them now for a little over £13k

Update: have been offered 11500 against a used ELise or 12,000 against a new one. Looks like i will buy one of these so my Compressor will be up for sale at Christopher Neil in cheshire which has Lotus/subaru/ toyota.

Hi Paul,

When you get it would you us a favour and post photos of the engine bay. Sorry to be lecherous but I'd love to see the Toyota power plant in its Lotus clothes just so that I can drool over it for a bit.

Of course, I'd understand if you became a jealous owner too, preferring not to do "readers wives" type photos.

lol ofcourse no problem, just glad im keeping in the toyota family :) Mind you its only the little 134 bhp out of the mr2/celica engine its not the elise r with t sport engine i couldn't afford a new one of those way to many gold coins! Mind you maybe a nearly new one? B)
