Thinking Of Selling.....

Hi guys,

Thinking of lettin her go shortly. Its a Carlo Blue 2002 (52) T Sport with just short of 40.000 miles on the clock. Only mod is a typhoon induction kit.

A dealer offered me 5500 in part ex but think I should be gettin at least 5800 (Parkers recommended) so am gonna sit tight and hold out for a better offer.

Ideally would have wanted 6k seen as I only bought it just 12 months ago for £7800.

What do you guys think and anyone had any previous expierence of better/worse part ex offers.

Im looking to spend roughly 8.5k on my next car looking at either something with a turbo/integra/civic type r etc.

I think £5500 is the best your going to get from a dealers. Values for the T-Sport seem to be dropping rapidly.

You could try and sell at £6k privately.

I recently put mine in for part ex against a gt four and I got 7,000 it was a 53 plate with 28000 miles and full service history I thought that wasn't bad seeing as I only paid 8,500 for it

Yeah I think I was I got a hell of a deal from that regency specialists in tyneside autoparc went back the other day just out of curiosity and its up for £8995 :o

I've decided not to sell. I basically gave myself a slap across the chops and said what the hell am i doing. the TS is a perfectly good car and is everything i need.

Gonna spruce her up soon, thinking of the TTE grille and lowering springs
