Miles On A Full Tank

Well stuffed my tank to the top last weekend, just managed 348.3 miles until i crawled into my local fuel station light had been on for more that 30 odd miles...managed 37.6 to the gallon.

Anyone managed anymore than 350 miles , i will get there one day if i dont keep hitting the lift

Wasn't a full tank but I have managed just over 40mpg between 2 fills before. Pretty much all motorway, about 200 miles.

What petrol did you use out of interest?

i do about 34mpg around town bout 150 miles to half tank, lead boot on right foot, like you say the lift is irresistible

i got 420, which is my record. that was after a fresh oil change though! I have found the fuel consumption has got better since i hit 14k. Plus I also use Mobil 1 oil.

415, Liverpool to Newbury and back, the warning light came on so there were two gallons left in the tank.

Usually it's 350ish though...

Jock tend to fill up at sainsbury pfs i think its ron 95 !!

been having a play..........down to 27mpg on tesco's 95ron at 93.9p lt.

worst i ever got was around the 200 mark 320 is the best i ever got, averaging about 250 a tank sits around the 24-28mark. I havent seen 300 for a long time lol

most is 350 that was about 36mpg normally 280ish and fill up as soon as the light is on. normally avarage 28 but thats stop start on small trips.

Decided it was time to work on getting my mpg a bit higher, i just worked out that last month (bear in mind, i got my cts that month) i spent nearly £600 on petrol.

Got out google maps, knocked 20% off my drive to work in mileage and knocked the mpg to about 90% extra. Drove to work and back on what would normally do one way... if i can stick to that i might only spend £180 a month on petrol lol.

I have done 300km (186miles) on one full tank of 98oct Vpower................. At Nurburgring :P
